Fortunately this city is rich with a tradition of corner Asian grocery stores carrying fresh flowers — tulips, mums, daffys, roses, carnations, Christmas boughs, etc, as well as potted daffys, muscari, paperwhites, hyacinths, oh my — so I don’t have far to go to replenish the supply.  And at this time year there’s also potted Amaryllis in whites, pinks, and many shades of the very festive red.
