This old jar used to sit on my dad’s desk as his pencil jar, and now it sits on my desk.  He used an old Dundee marmalade jar for his pencils when we lived in England, but this jar states that, while the marmalade is a product of Great Britain, it was packed in Toronto, Canada  (old times).  We still enjoyed Dundee marmalade on our toast once back in Toronto, and  dad clearly nabbed this fresh jar for his pencils.

It’s one of those objects that has been with me almost my entire life, first as dad’s and now as mine.  One of my favourite things. OOMFT.
