I know I'm not alone in feasting on tomatoes every August -- when tomatoes actually taste like tomatoes.  The bowl is one of three I have that were end of stock at my brother and sister in law's store, so handsome and striking with its stripes and an excellent backdrop for the lovely orangey-red toms.

Painting is unframed.
