After being dazzled by the umbrella pines in Madrid's Retiro Park and the brilliant blue winter sky above them, I've come home to peer up into the magnificent old oaks against our pale hazy summer sky here in Toronto. This one's firm, solid branches in the strong afternoon sun really drew me in.
Painting is unframed.
