After being dazzled by the umbrella pines in Madrid's Retiro Park and the intense blue winter sky there, I've been looking up into the majestic old white and red oaks against our pale, hazy summer sky here at home in Toronto's High Park. Like many of the umbrella pines, oaks also have firm, wildly curvy and waving branches which seem to be free-form dancing. Original, small, watercolour, this is not a reproduction.
Painting is unframed.
